What is compliant clinic marketing?Compliant clinic marketing means your website, ads and social posts stick to the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations under the Healthcare Services Act. In practice that means factual, verifiable information only, with no testimonials reproduced in ads, no before-and-after photos and no words like best or leading.

FAQ

Quick answers

Can we show before-and-after photos in ads?

No. MOH's FAQ says before-and-after or after-only treatment photos can't appear in advertisements, even with a disclaimer. They can be shown during a consultation, with the doctor explaining likely outcomes.

Can we put patient reviews on our website?

Not as testimonials you reproduce. MOH's FAQ says testimonials can't be reproduced in ads, websites or social media, and paid reviews are banned. Unpaid reviews patients post on third-party platforms on their own are treated differently.

Can we advertise promotions or packages?

Not in ads. MOH's FAQ says words like discount, promotion, free and package aren't allowed, and package prices can only be shared at the point of payment. You can list exact prices.

Do these rules cover Google Ads and SEO?

MOH treats search ads as advertising, so the rules apply. Google also has its own healthcare ad policies. We're not lawyers, so we'd still suggest your clinic does a final compliance check before anything goes live.
